Could you give us an example of the settings and troubleshooting steps for set up of Google's GMail as the smtp server for notification distribution.

Google's GMail service requires SSL SMTP connection. Checkmate 5.2 does not support an SSL SMTP connection, although it is supported in Checkmate 5.3 beta.

Please download Checkmate 5.3 beta is available from http://geotab.com/Checkmate53Beta/t...ault.aspx. If you encounter an issue setting up email notification using a Gmail accountwith Checkmate 5.3, please post in the Checkmate 5.3 section of the Forum.
