Checkmate 5.3 supports integrating existing non-geotab hardware given that the files provided are in the format that Checkmate requires. The attached zip file contains the following files:
1) "Creating Text Files for 3rd Party Devices.pdf": The entire process is outlined in this document. Please read this carefully before you begin.
2) "100 Serial Numbers for 3rd party devices.xls". Each GT serial number has a corresponding vehicle number (integer). As a first step, assign each 3rd party device to a unique GT serial number. When a text file is created, the corresponding vehicle number (not the GT serial number) must be used.
3) Sample Text File with data for vehicle number 10000001(GT-A90-098-9681).
