We have a client that runs the MSI version of 5.3. All has been running smoothly for the last 3 months and now an error appears when trying to connect to the database.

The database GEOTAB1 on server is unavailable.
Contact your administrator to check the server. Error is:

Request cannot be completed.
Request cannot be completed.
Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred beacuse all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached.
Woul you like to retry conencting to this server?
Yes No Cancel

Clicking yes returns the same error then returns SQL error 40 - remote connections not available (even though they are)

Can somebody please help.

We cannot use the clickonce checkmate due to firewall / netowrk restrictions of the customer.

Are you able to access the database from the machine from outside of Checkmate? You can test this by installing SQL Server Management Studio on the computer and attempting to connect to the database. SQL Management Studio is free to download from Microsoft's website:
