There are 2 methods to add zones in Checkmate.
Method 1) Manually create a zone using the "Draw Zone" Option on the Map
- To manually create Zones, follow the instructions in the attached document titled "How To Manually Create Zones".
Method 2) Import a list of zones from excel using either the street address, or latitude/longitude in degrees.
- To import a list of customer zones from excel, Click Tools->Import->Zones, and follow the Zone Import Wizard in Checkmate.

Can one redefine the default size of a zone that is auto imported? Or would it be better / easier to use the SDK as stated in How to Programatically Import Zones (Zone Import SDK example):

Is there a way to have zones imported from Excel be produced in a different size (e.g. smaller/bigger)?

During the zone import wizard, it will ask you for the size of the zones you wish to import. All the zones imported will be the same size, but you can specify any sizes you want.
