Will editing the shape of an existing zone become a feature? I understand that a shape can be moved, but it remains the same shape. I know that a new zone can be drawn over top of the old one in the desired form and the old zone deleted, but there are often naming issues. I was thinking SDK, but zone editing right in the main interface is not something the SDK can accomplish (right?) and a stand alone editor seems inconvenient. It seems like a simple thing to do for the developers (famous last words): add the option to edit (the shape, not just the properties) in the right click menu. Buffer the shape's header properties i memory. Allow the new shape to be drawn, or better yet, allow the present shape to be edited like in MapPoint or Google Maps (I know that would require more program work so the user could add and remove points). Add this new shape into the database as is it was a new shape, but put up a dialogue box to Replace / Leave as new shape / Cancel. If replace is confirmed, overwrite the new shape's header data with the same data in the buffer, then delete the old shape's header and points... or forget the dialogue box and just "make it so".
