New Errors after Microsoft Update

After Tuesday's Microsoft Updates our once working Checkmate software now gives me this error when trying to start.. The database Kapps on localhost\Geotab is unavailable. Contact your administrator to check the server. Error is: The database version 32.18 is incompatible with the installed Checkmate application. Would you like to retry connecting to this server? Using Windows Vista Home Premium64 Any idea how to fix this? clrader@gmail.com

A few questions: 1. What updates were installed? 2. What version of SQL are you using? 3. Is the SQL Server service currently running? 4. What version of Checkmate are you using?

FYI: we ran into this today as well. It was resolved by stopping IIS, opening the installation file for Checkmate 5.5 and rerunning step 1 to enable the web server. Once that was done, things were back up and running.
