Are there any plans to ever have Checkmate run on a Apple Macintosh computer?

The full version is a .Net application and as such it won't work on an Apple computer.
However, Checkmate is moving towards a more web based approach and with each new release more functionality will be added to the web portion of Checkmate which does work across all platforms.

We have abandoned all Windows machines and now work in the cloud with Macs, iPhones and iPads. Geotab is the last program running on our old Windows computer. Looking forward to a web based approach.

you may run Checkmate on a Mac using the parallels application for Mac which allows you to run windows on a Mac. Would be interested to find out if someone was able to run checkmate successfully using this program.

We have not performed any testing with the Parallels software.
However, seeing as it is a virtual machine in which you can install windows and as such install .Net Framework I don't see why it wouldn't work in Parallels.

Is there an expected release date for Checkmate "in the Cloud" with all features? We have several customers switching to Apple and have been telling them it is coming.

Hello.

There is no set release date as yet. However, we anticipate a beta will be available at the end of first quarter this year (2012).

Thanks.
