If you were to disable the buzzer via the parameters if a test key was used on the device they would not here any beeps?

***UPDATE***

RPM warning is not currently supported in J1939 firmware. Support for this feature will be included the next firmware release for both J1708 and J1939, which will be approx. 1-2 months from now.
