I am having problems with a few of my GO2 units not downloading. I am trying to diagnose my problem. I place the unit in test mode, stop infront of an RF antenna and turn the vehicle off I get the usual 3 beeps. But that is where it stops. The light on the geotab stops flashing. I can sit there for 10 minutes plus waiting for a download but am recieving nothing. I have a GPS lock and all other functions seem to be working. I have disconnected power for a hard reset and still have the same problem. Any Ideas?

Do you get the 3 beeps as soon as you turn the vehicle off?
Does the light go off completely after those 3 beeps or does it stay solid?
Is the Go2 connected via 3-wire?
Do you have any .txt or .bad files within your Checkmate folder on the computer that has the RF downloader?

Yes I get 3 beeps right after shutdown. The light does not go out it just stays solid. The geotab is connect via 3 wire and I do have a 12 volts on the red wire and 12 volts on the ignition which is switched on and off. I am only having this problem on a few of my units. I still have data out of most of our GO2's. We also have GO4's which are also working correctly. I have replaced a few units in the past with new GO4's but this seems to be becoming a common problem. Im hoping we dont have to replace 2 and 3 year old unit with new ones.

What about my last question? (Any .txt or .bad files in the Checkmate folder?)
Do you have a USB downloader and a GO Key available? If so, please create an extract key and extract the data manually and download it into Checkmate, after that go for a trip and see if it downloads the new trip over the air.
Also, have you tried swapping the RF antenna on some of those GO2's?
