An accident data key can collect the last 100 minutes of driving (second by second data)
In order to create and read an accident key, you require the following parts.
1) Geoport USB Key Downloader
2) Blue Key (previous data will be overwritten)
In Checkmate 5.1, follow these steps
1) Click Tools -> Key, and select create key
2) Select accident data key
3) Follow through the wizard to create the key
4) Insert and hold this key into the vehicle - you will hear several ticks. Once you hear a distinct 2 beeps, the accident data has been downloaded to a key
5) Insert this key into your Geoport Key Downloader. The key downloader will sound every second while data is being downloaded, then it will sound 2 beeps to indicate completion |
