Question:
Could we install Checkmate only once and have the program open to all users?
1. User1 logon to a desktop, installed Checkmate 5.3.
2. User2 logon to the same desktop but could not see Checkmate.
Answer:
Checkmate uses Microsoft ClickOnce Technology to install the software. This allows checkmate to automatically receive updates over the internet. ClickOnce programs are installed in the users local folders and are not visible to other users.
It is possible to email a link to everyone that includes the database to make the install easier. For example, if your server is "SERVER" and your database is "GEOTAB1". You can distribute the following link
