On a 12 V system using a Geotab GO4v2 live unit, Current Draw when unit is in sleep mode (ignition off and no heartbeat): 48.5 mA Current Draw when unit wakes up for a heartbeat: 86 mA The current draw on a 24V system is much less than a 12 V system. The amount of power the unit draws is equal to the Voltage times Current (Amps) . When voltage is low, the current must get higher to provide the same amount of power.

When a vehicle (24v) doesn’t move for a few days what would be: • The amps used while vehicle turned off • Amps used when the unit wakes for a heartbeat
