A date has not been established for the 5.3.1 support cut-off. A bulletin will be sent out when this is determined which will give users ample time to upgrade. |

| Is there a proposed date where support will no longer be provided for 5.3.1? Want to know if we should be concerned. Thanks. |

In order for Geotab to accommodate the gradual move to offering web based functionality, we are transitioning to a web only login. Web based functionality will allow customers to start using basic functionality on the web with any browser or platform (including Linux and Mac OS). In Checkmate versions 5.3.1 and older, Checkmate was available for download as an MSI download, in addition to a ClickOnce download from the web. Checkmate version 5.5 is estimated for release in Summer 2010. In Checkmate version 5.5 and above, the MSI version will no longer be distributed. Customers can manage checkmate versions in a local environment by configuring Checkmate Web Server on a local server. All customers must use Checkmate ClickOnce version as a mechanism to run the software (http://checkmate.geotab.com) or launch the exe directly. To launch checkmate on a computer without internet access, please follow the steps in the following forum post. http://geotab.com/tabid/108/afv/top...fault.aspx Please reply to this thread with any questions or concerns.
