I am having problem with checkmate 5.3.1, when I open checkmate its showing that database not available and when I try to open SQL its not able to connect to the database and when I go to manage, services, SQL is stopped but its failing to start. is the database corrupted or is there any way I can make this work.

It sounds like the issue is with SQL Server, not Checkmate. A corrupt database will not usually prevent SQL Server from running. If the service is crashing every time you try to start there may be some information in the Windows Event Viewer which would help explain the cause. Please attempt to start the service, and then after it crashes check the Windows Event Viewer (Application and System logs) for any errors related to SQL Server. If you post any errors you find in this forum I may be able to point you in the right direction for help.
