We are always looking for amazing talent at Geotab! We are seeking an RMA Manager to contribute to our Operations and Production departments to deliver results! The ideal person should have a passion for technology, data analysis, and learning the detailed intricacies of new products. The RMA Manager will be responsible for managing a small international team to execute on processes and requirements through a dynamically changing environment that is scaling in parallel to the organization. What are the details of this position:

The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day of the Geotab RMA department, with team members in both our Oakville Headquarters and Las Vegas office. As process requirements and scope of team responsibility change the RMA Manager will define changes and support their team to be successful. This role will be a key stakeholder in leveraging big data for team reporting, and be involved in upcoming data integration projects. The RMA Manager will work collaboratively with Engineering teams to provide feedback and drive corrective actions for trending issues.


Duties and Tasks/Essential Functions:

  • Thoroughly understand all product variations and intricacies
  • Manage RMA team in Oakville, Ontario and Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Train and motivate employees to follow process and procedures for various RMA functions
  • Define RMA process requirements and scope as organizations changes require
  • Leverage Big Data (Google Big Query) and other analytics tools to trend data and understand details of product failures
  • Manage projects focused on integrating data requirements into Big Data tool
  • Design and provide reports to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Provide swift feedback trending issues to Engineering teams and drive corrective actions to resolve
  • Reduce and maintain turnaround time from product receipt to analysis


  • Experience/Skills Required:

  • University degree in Electronics, Computer, Industrial Engineering or related
  • 3+ years experience managing an RMA team
  • Strong experience with data and analytics tools; Excel macros, VBA or SQL is a plus
  • Experience with electronics failure analysis and strong investigative skills
  • Experience with automotive standards is a plus
  • Ability to travel
