They will coordinate candidate screenings and interviews, record metrics for reporting, and maintain postings and documentation. What are the details of this position:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist your key area of responsibility will be coordinating and managing the talent management process in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Manager and AVP of HR.

To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong recruitment skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through completion. The successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results

Duties and Tasks/Essential Functions:

  • Internal/External Candidate Management - USA Market (Las Vegas and other identified markets).
  • Identify potential student interns and full time candidates.
  • Manage and actively participate in Geotab’s recruitment cycle, creating job descriptions, screening and interviewing candidates, pre & post employment testing, and candidate selection and offer.
  • Post jobs on social media, Careers, & recruitment sites. Use other recruitment tools for hard to fill roles.
  • Assist with student intern program administration.
  • Keep detailed and accurate metrics on time to fill, candidate sourcing, logic quiz scores etc. for recruitment reporting.
  • Keep recruitment wiki, and forecasting document up to date.
  • Work closely with selected agencies for Geotab staffing requirements.
  • Send routine updates and emails internally to advise Geotabbers on open positions.
  • 1st round interviewing and coordination.
  • New hire onboarding class facilitation as assigned.

  • Experience/Skills Required:

  • Recruitment & interview experience (high volume)
  • Must be highly organized, task oriented and have a strong team orientation
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple requests at one time
  • Able to handle competing priorities
  • Possesses, acquires, and maintains the technical/professional expertise required to do the job effectively. Technical/professional expertise is demonstrated through problem solving, applying technical knowledge, and product management for the functional area in which employee operates.
  • College Degree required
  • Passport / Global Entry required (company sponsored)
