Geotab is seeking an Account Manager who will be responsible for growing Geotab’s business in the DACH region and Europe. About the Role:

In this role, you will grow existing accounts while building and leveraging relationships within strategic partnerships. You will utilize training tools to increase product knowledge in order to educate resellers and customers accordingly.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and unit sales through new and existing business channels in the DACH region
  • Become a trusted advisor and relationship manager to Geotab’s reseller network
  • Be the subject matter expert on Geotab product and telematics fleet management ecosystem for our partners
  • Coach and develop various stakeholders on Geotab products and platform, via in-person meetings, platform training, webinars and participating in customer calls and appointments
  • Present Geotab solutions to stakeholders and prospective customers to assist in the sales process
  • Identify new areas for growth and propose programs and initiatives accordingly with respective Geotab channels
  • Maintain and create account development business plans
  • Closely monitor program objectives and provide critical performance feedback to management for reporting and forecasting
  • Regularly evaluate marketing activities and initiatives of resellers to ensure that the Geotab brand is present and well represented and to maximize the generation of new leads
  • Build and maintain relationships with channel stakeholders to ensure leads are actively qualified and managed, providing continuous feedback to internal and external partners
  • Continuously assist lead generation programs to maintain pipeline of prospective customers and update Salesforce by assisting your partners in gathering key customer information
  • Build company credibility, brand value, and trust with your stakeholders
  • Gain knowledge, insight and understanding from key decision-makers regarding customer needs/challenges
  • Attend Geotab company meetings as required
  • Enthusiastically participate in Geotab sponsored Training and Development events, courses, webinars and coaching
  • Support European and global strategic initiatives as required
  • Participate/advise in the recruitment process of sales representatives of your channel partners
  • Bring new resellers on-board to complement current sales channels


  • Experience / Skills Required:

  • Able to work from the Geotab or home office
  • Strong relationship skills, self motivated with a flexible disposition
  • At least 3 years experience in channel management
  • Experience in the telematics industry is desirable
  • Strong sales and account management background with a proven track record
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to provide one on one coaching
  • Computer and technical skills and the ability to assimilate new technology
  • Able to travel up to 70% (including pan European and international)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
