About the Role:

Geotab is seeking an Inside Partner Account Manager who should be able to quickly contribute to our sales team. As an Inside Partner Account Manager your key area of responsibility will be in developing sales activity to help Resellers increase their sales.  It is designed as an inside role and takes initiative, creativity and persistence to develop traction and increased volumes with these Resellers.

To be successful in this role you will need to have sales experience, and you will need to develop strong Geotab product knowledge. You will also be a self-starter, organized with strong sales and training skills. In addition the successful candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to engage and captivate an audience.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Reseller Volume Growth - Assist resellers in closing sales by facilitating the presentation on Geotab solutions to sales prospects
  • Product Knowledge - Must be an expert on our hardware and software (MyGeotab and MyAdmin) capabilities, which includes part numbers, features and benefits. Must get comfortable with navigating our software to show the benefits and value as needed by any given end fleet customer.
  • Reseller Management: Assist resellers in smaller fleet pilots - 500 or less
  • Follow up on leads
  • Assist in the shared services, competitive analysis, and other sales team activities
  • Support Training - Works with the Learning Center team when a need is identified during reseller contacts.
  • Geotab Training Attendance/Tools - Must be extremely familiar with our training session offerings and our many training tools.  These resources must be clearly communicated to the reseller. Attendance of the Geotab training sessions regularly, where able and ongoing continued encouragement for our Resellers to attend training sessions such as Tuesday Talks.  
  • Personal Geotab Device Management - Regularly monitor your own device in G560 or a demo database.  Assist with testing as needed by Development and be able to use it for demonstration purposes with our end fleet customers.
  • Blog - Will be responsible for writing one blog per year.

  • Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Channel experience/ knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to travel, limited travel for training, up to 5%
  • Ideally, candidates will have transportation industry knowledge. An understanding of fleet management and telematics are extremely desirable.  
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM software).
  • Knowledge of Google Office Platform including Slides for the purpose of producing training materials and presentations. 
  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a compelling public speaker. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. .
  • Must have strong time management skills as well as be an effective multi-tasker. 
  • Must have strong critical thinking and analytical skills. 
  • Must have good problem solving and decision making skills along with the ability to exercise sound judgment. 
  • Fluent in Canadian French and/or Spanish, and English required
