We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Business Development Manager to engage with new resellers in France and support the sales process with large multinational companies (MNC's). This role requires a proven sales and business development expert who is consultative and numbers oriented as well as adept at working with individuals at all levels of an organization, including the C-Suite. What are the details of this position:

Working for an established North American company in a startup European environment, the Business Development Manager must possess the motivation, flexibility and persistence to close high revenue sales opportunities. The key areas of responsibility will be to develop new business opportunities, drive sales, and make a significant impact on the number of Geotab units deployed in Europe.  The ability to understand the unique needs, challenges and technical concepts of prospective MNCs is essential in selling the customized Geotab solution.


Duties and Tasks/Essential Functions:

  • Develop new and existing business channels in France, including carriers, leasing companies and OEMs among others
  • Drive revenue, unit sales and activations
  • Define the criteria for being a successful Geotab reseller
  • Negotiate and manage complex deals
  • Create new opportunities with large MNC's
  • Work with various Geotab business leaders for active engagement and to assist with closing
  • Develop at least 2 strategic accounts in the connected vehicle market
  • Support European strategic initiatives
  • Coach, mentor and educate members of the European team on effective sales strategies


  • Experience / Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or commerce combined with formal sales training
  • Post graduate education (MBA) is desirable
  • 5+ years experience in high revenue enterprise sales
  • 3+ years experience in telematics, automotive, IoT or related M2M industries
  • Agile and able to travel to pan Europe at short notice
  • Bilingual (French/English) is required, additional languages considered an asset
