What are the details of this position:

As a Fulfillment Specialist, your key area of responsibility will be to assist the Fulfillment Manager in ensuring orders are processed within the service level agreements. You will need to work closely with the Orders Team, the Customer Experience department, Sales team, other internal stakeholders, and with external partners and suppliers.

To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will have great attention to detail and possess an ability to develop effective solutions, and manage tasks efficiently and on time. The successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results.

Duties and Tasks/Essential Functions:

  • Supports client, carrier, and sales team by overseeing the daily fulfillment process, including management of the sales order process, completing the receiving process by tracking all incoming shipments, management of fulfillment materials, following daily shipping procedures per shipper and customer, assisting with daily fulfillment questions, and also supporting carrier demo and product trial programs.
  • Assists the project manager, as well as the Fulfillment Supervisor, in the staging of all devices as outlined in project scope of work and as directed by client and carrier requests.
  • Coordinates with all departments in the product testing, reprovisioning, and inventory control of the return/exchange process for Geotab devices and accessories, including communication to the internal team during the process and replacement of faulty products.
  • Identify and assess customers’ fulfillment needs to achieve satisfaction. This includes providing personalizing the fulfillment experience based on the customers' unspoken needs, quality checking each device during a project deployment, providing consultation for proper device configuration, providing resources to aid in project completion, following up post deployment for customer satisfaction, and suggesting creative solutions to deepen client relationships.
  • Sends personalized device walkthroughs, personalized packing slips for projects, completes device labeling as requested, and sends thank you cards following customer and carrier interactions in fulfilled packages.
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
  • Completes ongoing training to stay current on existing and new systems and products, staying current on fulfillment processes, develop new skills, and to maintain proficiency on company values and organizational requirements.
  • Develops skills with new mobile devices to stage and create custom walkthroughs for project deployment, especially related to the Geotab Drive application and hours of service.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety, shipping mandates, compliance with outgoing carrier shipments, fleet management industry, and overall usage of telematics within that vertical market.
  • Documents all interactions and inventory movement in Salesforce, MyAdmin, Ascent, GMS, and all appropriate inventory management systems. including problem, resolution, and relevant customer information in standard case notation.
  • Ability to utilize enhanced Excel and Google Sheet functions, including pivot tables, graphs, and V-lookup function.
  • Ability to navigate, utilize, update, and educate on the use of Ascent, fulfillment systems (UPS, FedEx, and others as assigned),MyAdmin, and the MyGeotab portal.
  • Oversees the training of new hire Fulfillment Specialists, ensuring proper policies and procedures are explained and feedback is provided to the Fulfillment Supervisor.
  • Prepare one blog post.

  • Experience/Skills Required:

  • Associates degree and/or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of Inventory Control experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Experience in MS Excel
  • Basic troubleshooting on shipping and internal systems
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the team on orders going to multiple locations
  • Able to work in typical warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 50° to 90°F
  • Ability to lift boxes over 25 pounds
  • Passport/Global Entry required (company sponsored)
