Our data science team recently hosted an open-topic hackathon. The goal of this hackathon was to explore new ideas together, stay innovative, and see if any ideas could be brought to market.  It was a great team-building experience, with bright minds coming together amid loads of data, huddled up in a collaborative workspace. It was the ideal condition for sparking brilliant ideas. With team members from Spain and Germany visiting, it was great to get to know each better in a fun way.  The team explored more than ten ideas, including generative braking, braking efficiency, maintenance, fuel economy and collision.  #Innovation #DataScience

A future in STEM awaits! For the third year, Geotab is awarding two $3,000 scholarships to assist students in their first year of a full-time undergraduate STEM program. This scholarship provides a valuable opportunity for two Black and/or Indigenous Canadian Permanent Resident students who are graduating from high school in 2024 (with a graduating average of 85 percent or higher) and pursuing an Engineering or STEM-related course. As we round up Earth month, #Geotabbers got together and partnered with Oakville Green to host an Invasive Species Removal event! Oakville Green is a local environmental charity that has been helping protect and restore nature through community education and local action. The Invasive Species Removal event consisted of removing invasive plants such as European Buckthorn and garlic mustard from the Preserve Woods area.

We recently held an Installation Workshop in the High Wycombe Automotive Hub where seven Partner and Customer Support agents and trainers, based in Spain, Germany, the United States and Canada, learned more about the technical side of our products and even got a chance to install some of them in vehicles! #Geotabbers #Geotab
