MANILA, PHILIPPINES, 19 May 2026 — Geotab Inc. (“Geotab”), a global leader in connected transportation, video and asset tracking solutions, has joined the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) as the industry increasingly explores data‑driven approaches to improve fleet operations, road safety and sustainability outcomes across the country.
As businesses and policymakers place greater emphasis on digitalisation, safety and emissions reduction, the ECCP continues to provide a platform for dialogue and collaboration across the transport, infrastructure and energy sectors. Through this initiative, Geotab will contribute global experience and technical expertise to support industry discussions and knowledge‑sharing around the use of data in fleet operations.
Road transport is central to the Philippine economy, supporting logistics, delivery services and daily mobility across an archipelago of more than 7,000 islands. However, fleet operators continue to face structural challenges, including accident risk, inefficient vehicle utilisation and higher fuel and maintenance expenses. Data‑driven tools are increasingly being explored by operators as one way to better understand and address these issues.
“Joining ECCP allows us to support broader industry conversations around fleet digitalisation and road safety that are already taking place in the Philippines,” said Ezanne Soh, Associate Vice President, Southeast Asia, Geotab. “Our goal is to help fleets improve safety and efficiency while supporting their transition to more sustainable operations.”
The ECCP, now representing close to 1,000 member organizations, is actively involved in policy discussions and industry engagement across transportation, infrastructure, and energy. They provide a platform for industry dialogue, knowledge‑sharing and engagement with public and private‑sector stakeholders.
“We see this collaboration as a way to support the modernisation of the Philippines’ transport sector,” said Florian Gottein, Executive Director of ECCP. “Access to global expertise and data‑driven approaches can help businesses operate more efficiently while contributing to safer roads and lower environmental impact.”
Through joint initiatives including industry engagements, knowledge-sharing sessions and policy dialogues, Geotab and the ECCP will work with stakeholders across the public and private sectors to advance fleet modernisation and promote data-driven decision-making.
This membership builds on Geotab’s continued investment in the Asia-Pacific region and follows similar collaborations with leading industry associations to support safer, more efficient and sustainable transport systems.
About the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines
The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) is a multilateral foreign chamber that promotes European interests in the Philippines and vice versa. As a membership organization with close to 1,000 members and a strong partnership with the government, it offers a robust business network with strong potential for translating into tangible business opportunities. The ECCP also strives to ensure that its members’ viewpoints are heard on economic and business issues, legislative measures, and administrative regulations.
As the largest foreign chamber in the Philippines, the ECCP continuously champions the European-Philippine business community by connecting members and industry leaders through business meetings and gatherings; equipping workforces with tools and skills via seminars and workshops; providing extensive services to exhibitors and visitors of European and Asian trade fairs; and linking the business community with Philippine government officials through dialogues on key economic issues central to the European-Philippine business landscape. Through these efforts, the Chamber has become a trusted voice and bridge between businesses and government – both locally and abroad. Its reach spans Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, and it works closely with European embassies and the Delegation of the European Union in the Philippines.
