Prince Michael International Road Safety Award presented to Geotab for second consecutive year

London, 10th, December 2024 – Geotab, a global leader in connected transportation solutions, has won the prestigious Prince Michael International Road Safety Award in the “Technologies for the Safe System” category for a second year in a row. This recognition highlights Geotab’s ongoing commitment and approach to advancing road safety through data-driven insights, helping transform fleet management and significantly reduce road incidents worldwide.

The Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards Open in new window, established in 1987, recognise organisations and innovations advancing road safety globally. Geotab has been recognised for its data-driven approach to safety, enhancing decision-making and empowering a proactive safety culture across the industry. 

Geotab has made significant strides in enhancing driver safety across diverse industries with one of its customers achieving a 90% reduction in high-risk driver ratios and a 60% decrease in collisions since 2017.  Geotab’s recent ‘2024 State of Commercial Transportation’ study found that fleets using Geotab’s safety features have also shown a 40% reduction in collision rates.
