As Associate Vice President of Product & Engineering for Altitude, Geotab’s transportation data analytics platform, Shweta’s journey has been one of continuous evolution and impact. Joining Geotab in 2019 through an acquisition, she worked on the public works team, and then moved to Altitude, where she is a foundational force. “My days are a mix of strategic discussions, problem-solving, and continuous context switching across various domains. Every day is collaborative and our work directly shapes the future of our product and its impact on our customers,” Shweta says. Starting as a Senior Product Manager, she steadily grew into her current leadership role—testament to both her grit and Geotab’s commitment to recognizing and empowering high performers.

Starting as a Senior Product Manager, she steadily grew into her current leadership role—testament to both her grit and Geotab’s commitment to recognizing and empowering high performers. Early in Altitude’s development, she helped land a major multi-year customer deal, which was a defining moment for the team. “That experience showed me the power of a cohesive, agile team. Seeing our platform deliver real value and earning customer trust—those are the moments you work for,” she says. Outside the office, Shweta recharges through travel and crafting—especially sewing and knitting, passions rooted in her childhood. A trip to India introduced her to the rhythm of a foot-pedal sewing machine and sparked a lifelong love of making with her hands. For her, the balance between strategy and stitching is about creating space to return re-energized and inspired. “Having distinct creative outlets makes me sharper at work,” she explains. What drives Shweta most is learning. “My team includes people with skills that go far beyond mine—it’s a daily masterclass,” she says. That willingness to grow, and to uplift others along the way, defines her leadership style. As a woman in STEM leading high-impact teams and delivering critical product innovation, Shweta also serves as a powerful role model in Geotab’s mission to build an inclusive, high-performance culture—one where all voices, especially those historically underrepresented, are empowered to lead. She finds a guiding principle in a quote by Ursula Burns: “I didn’t learn to be quiet when I had an opinion.” It’s a mantra she lives by as she helps build platforms and cultures of bold leadership, inclusive innovation, and sustained excellence. Shweta reminds us that high performance is about curiosity, courage, and the creativity to build what doesn’t yet exist.
