10 Bridges in the U.S. Selected as Homage to America’s Infrastructure System

Toronto, ON - May 14, 2018 – Geotab, a global leader in IoT and connected transportation, today released a poster series of the 10 most iconic bridges in the United States, demonstrating appreciation for the beautiful infrastructure that enables transportation and trade in America.

Showcasing spectacular landscapes, skylines and world-class architecture and engineering, the selected bridges connect and define how we see cities and states – serving as destinations in themselves. From the legendary Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco to the gravity-defying height of the Royal Gorge Bridge in Cañon City, Colorado, the piece pays homage to the structures that move us and every individual whose hard work made these bridges a reality.

The graphic poster series, which also highlights key statistics including daily traffic, height and length, showcases 10 unique bridges which see over 673,000 vehicles each day and span between 714 feet and 126,000 feet in length. This collection of America’s most iconic bridges, paints a historical picture of the transformative role each of these structures have played in enabling transportation, trade and travel across America.

“With countless individuals utilizing these bridges each and every day, these iconic structures are some of the most memorable crossings in the U.S.,” said Maria Sotra, VP of Marketing at Geotab. “Capturing their beauty and their history, this poster series gives those living in and outside of the U.S. the opportunity to explore some of America’s most renowned architecture without ever having to leave their homes.”
