The Evolution of Product Updates: Welcome to Your New Centralized Hub
We are moving the What’s New to Geotab Support!
Dec 15, 2025

The MyGeotab What’s New blog has been a trusted resource for years, helping thousands of you stay up to date with our latest releases.
However, as our platform has grown, so has the volume of information.
- It was difficult to find any past update
- You couldn’t consolidate previous updates under a category of your choice (eg. Driver safety, routing, etc.)
- Feature availability (Regions, government, etc.) were difficult to understand and track
- What’s New is delivered monthly, but MyGeotab releases Weekly, leading to released features without readily available documentation.
We’ve officially launched Product Updates, centralized on Geotab Support!
You can find the new site here: Product Updates on Geotab Support.

We designed this new hub to fix the frustrations you’ve shared with us. Here is what you can look forward to:
Monthly What’s New at a Summary Level for All Products
Rest assured, we aren't getting rid of the monthly recap. We know you rely on it. We’ve just polished it up into a cleaner digest format. It’s perfect for skimming the highlights of what we’ve released recently.
If something catches your eye, you can click through for the deep dive.

Narrow down what you’re looking for with search and filtering
Say goodbye to endless scrolling and "Ctrl+F". Individual updates now live in a proper, searchable library. You can filter by Product (like MyGeotab or Geotab Drive), Region, or Release Status. Need to find every update related to Safety from the last year? Search by any topic of your choosing.

Key Details at a Glance with a Rich update body
"Is this available in Europe?" "Is this FedRAMP compliant?" "Is this feature in Beta or fully live?"
You shouldn't have to guess the answers to these questions. We’ve added clear tags to the top of every update so you can see the Region Availability and Release Status at a glance.
| ✱ NOTE: When a feature graduates from Beta to fully released, or expands to a new region, we’ll post a fresh update so you’re always in the loop. |
Within the body, we’re also exploring opportunities to add rich content, such as webinar clips, walkthroughs, or short video demos!

We recommend bookmarking the new Product Updates page today. Take a look around and let us know what you think!
Frequently Asked Questions
What will happen to the existing blog and release notes?
Starting in January 2026, the What’s New Blog and MyGeotab/Drive Release Notes will no longer populate updates. Over the coming months, we will be discontinuing the blog and release notes. From then on, the Support Site will be the single source of truth.
Can I Receive Emails for the What’s New
Emails are currently sent to MyGeotab Partners who have subscribed to the What’s New in MyAdmin on a monthly basis. This will still continue after the transition.
One of our top priorities post-launch is providing the ability for anyone to subscribe to updates on the new Product Updates platform. We are currently deciding on the available options for the level of detail and frequency that you can select.
Do the product updates have language support on the new support site?
The What’s New Blog has not been historically localized. However, we will be making it a priority to have more of our updates available in our supported languages.
How can I provide feedback
In early 2026, we’ll be adding a quick way to provide feedback on the new site.
