Giant Tiger advances fleet safety and optimization with an integrated, data-driven solution

Discover how Ontario-based retail corporation Giant Tiger streamlined its fleet operations with Geotab. To better manage its fleet of over 800 vehicles, Giant Tiger needed a telematics solution to measure fleet-wide data and provide insights on reducing waste and optimizing operations. Geotab’s ability to integrate with other telematics solutions like GoAnalytics and DriveWise has made it much easier to plan maintenance schedules and encourage safe driver behavior. Since partnering with Geotab, Giant Tiger has substantially reduced wasted fuel and excessive idling. Another advantage is streamlined reporting that simplifies compliance. Giant Tiger’s trucks have seen 6% fewer requests to pull in for regulatory review, as authorities now allow their vehicles to bypass these examinations 98% of the time.

The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada named Giant Tiger the winner of the 2024 Fleet Safety Award for the large fleet class.
