It's incredible to think that we're celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Geotab Marketplace! This milestone represents a decade of innovation, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional value to customers.

The inception of the Marketplace is a story I remember clearly. Over a decade ago, Neil Cawse first introduced it at Geotab Connect in Las Vegas. At the time, I was working for a Geotab Reseller, and frankly, I didn't fully grasp its immense potential. However, it quickly became apparent that the Geotab Marketplace would be pivotal to Geotab’s growth and, more importantly, to the significant value we provide our customers.

Geotab has always excelled at telematics, but our customers consistently expressed a need for more. They required comprehensive solutions for routing, dispatching, safety, asset tracking, and a multitude of other functionalities—all of which needed to integrate seamlessly with Geotab’s platform. This is precisely where the true power of partnerships shines. No single company can be everything to every customer while consistently delivering the highest quality. This understanding underpins our collaborative approach: we work with a diverse ecosystem of partners to integrate and create the absolute best solutions and customer experience. This shared passion for quality and customer experience is what has made the Marketplace the strong, innovative, and thriving ecosystem it is today.

Our Commitment to Quality and Expansion

The Marketplace is built on a deep commitment to quality. Every solution undergoes thorough review; dedicated teams across Geotab, from technical integrations and security to legal and marketing, all play a crucial role in ensuring each Marketplace integration is robust and secure. This isn't just about vetting; it's about guaranteeing that the solutions offered are reliable, secure, and deliver an exceptional experience for customers, ultimately strengthening their trust in Geotab's platform.

Over the past ten years, the Geotab Marketplace has continually grown and evolved, now featuring nearly 530 solutions. This expansive ecosystem is the largest and most comprehensive in the telematics industry, a unique achievement that brings together solutions from every corner of the industry. To further streamline access, we introduced Order Now, making it even easier for customers to discover, purchase, and deploy solutions. Currently, 100 solutions are available through Order Now. Our long-term goal is to make every solution on the Marketplace accessible in this way, ensuring every customer can fully leverage this diverse and vibrant ecosystem we've collectively built.
