Acquisition of Long-Time Partner STS Enables Geotab to Expand into Small-Fleet Market and Offer Additional Services Such as Tablet-Based Telematics

Founded in 2004, STS has amassed more than 65,000 subscribers across more than 3,000 customers and has forged a sterling reputation as a first-class customer service provider.

The acquisition enables Geotab to:

  • Offer specialized services to Geotab’s global sales channel partners that target the underserved small-to-mid size fleet market segment, which includes offering onboarding capabilities, customer experience-driven support channels, and sales model assistance services.
  • Expand support services to a 24/7 Global Support help desk.
  • Provide new and unique services to customers, such as automated HOS practices and customized tablet provisioning. With the frequent changes in HOS regulations, these automated services help reduce the challenges of staying in compliance and monitoring driver safety.
  • Scale up sales platforms and revenue, grow critical business departments, and enhance the overall customer experience to meet Geotab’s goal of increasing its customer base to reach 1 million subscribers worldwide.
