The Next Chapter of Our Daimler Partnership

This is a pivotal moment in the evolution of Geotab's OEM strategy, and I want to share some exciting news that underscores the strength of our partnership with Daimler Truck. We have officially certified our Electronic Logging Device (ELD) with Daimler's new CTP3 Telematics hardware, making Geotab the first telematics company to achieve this integration.
What does this mean for our customers? For fleets with new CTP3-equipped trucks, it means you can now get running with Geotab Drive for ELD compliance without the need for a separate third party telematics device. The factory-installed hardware on the truck is all you need. This streamlines the onboarding process, eliminates the cost of additional hardware, and allows you to use one unified platform for all your fleet data—regardless of the vehicle.
This is more than just a technical update; it’s a concrete example of our commitment to delivering what our customers need.
How Geotab OEM Telematics Simplifies Modern Fleet Management
Our own data shows that the average fleet today has vehicles from 13 different manufacturers. No two fleets are exactly alike, and managing a diverse range of vehicles can be a real challenge. It requires juggling different telematics systems, different data feeds, and different software platforms. This is exactly why our OEM partnerships are so critical. We’re building a network of integrations that ensures our customers can use the Geotab platform to simplify their entire fleet management operations.
Why Our OEM Partnerships are Game-Changing for Fleet Management
At Geotab, we believe that the best solutions are born from collaboration. For years, we've worked to ensure our OEM integrations are equivalent to what our GO device offers. We know the industry is competitive, but our focus has always been on being a strong partner. This new certification with Daimler Truck is another example of that philosophy in action, and it’s a powerful step toward a future where fleet management is simpler, smarter, and more unified than ever before.
